What happens when a child encounters bacteria?

As your child starts walking and exploring, they are likely to experience grazes and injuries. Tumbles are normal, as are the accompanying knee scrapes. A typical childhood scrape or graze creates an invitation for bacteria, but your child’s body will quickly start to fight against bad bacteria. Their immune system will spring into defence mode!
