Creamy Vanilla Porridge

Porridge is a great nutritious breakfast you can enjoy any day of the week. It’s super-simple and you can keep it interesting by changing up your toppings.

INGREDIENTS
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • 1 x 200ml Fortisip® (Vanilla)*

 

Toppings
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon dry roasted almonds, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon honey

 

INSTRUCTIONS

 

  1. Bring milk, oats and cinnamon to a gentle simmer. Cook, stirring often for 5 minutes or until milk is mostly absorbed and oats have softened.

  2. Add Fortisip® (Vanilla) and gently cook over low heat until liquid has reduced and oats are tender.

  3. Serve warm topped with blueberries, almonds and honey.

 

NOTES

Fortisip ®MultiFibre (Vanilla) can be used instead of Fortisip ®(Vanilla).

Add 1 tablespoon toasted shredded coconut for added crunch.
