Indications

For the dietary management of:

  • Patients with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia).
Important Notice
  • Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
  • Not for parenteral use.
  • Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.
  • Not suitable for children under 3 years.
  • Only suitable as a food and fluid thickener.
  • Must be used under medical supervision.
Direction for Use
  • Use only the scoop provided in the packaging.
  • Handle aseptically to ensure product remains sterile.
  • Add the prescribed amount of powder to the liquid or pureed meal and mix well with a shaker, whisk or fork.
  • Leave to stand for a few minutes to achieve the required consistency.
  • Do not add additional powder during standing time as the liquid is continuing to thicken.
  • Prepare the food per serving and use within 2 hours. Always discard unfinished prepared portions after 2 hours.

Storage
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Once opened, use contents within 8 weeks.
  • Discard unused contents after 8 weeks.
  • Replace lid firmly after use.
  • Do not refrigerate.
