What is Omega 3?

Omega‐3 fatty acids are a type of long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid. They are often referred to as healthy fats because they are thought to play an essential role in the development of your baby’s brain, nervous system and retinas of the eyes. They can be found in foods including oily fish like salmon, some vegetable oils like flaxseed oils, or through supplements like fish oil capsules.
