What causes feeding problems in babies?

It is estimated that about 25% of babies have feeding problems and there are several factors that can result in feeding issues.   These can related to structural abnormalities, neurodevelopmental disability or behavioural feeding disorders.

Newborns should not go for more than 4-5 hours without feeding. A Healthcare Professional, such as a paediatrician, will be able to provide specific advice and help.
