The 4-week-old baby boy presented with suspected non-IgE mediated allergy to cows’ milk and associated complex conditions, namely allergy to hydrolysates and multiple food allergies. The use of an amino acid formula containing synbiotics supported symptomatic relief as well as restoration of the gut flora.

The 7-month old baby boy presented with non-IgE mediated allergies to cows’ milk and soy, initially managed with breast milk and maternal exclusion diet, successfully transitioned to an extensively hydrolysed whey formula with synbiotics and dairy-free, soy-free solids which enabled resolution of GI symptoms and improved sleep.

Baby N presented at 5 months with suspected non-IgE mediated allergy.
